A study of more than 20 000 malicious sites revealed that the Mozilla browser, compared to Chrome, Internet Explorer and Opera, is the blocking so more effective hazardous pages
The security solutions company Hispasec assessed the degree of protection offered its users the different browsers by visiting the web pages classified as malicious.
If the user tries to navigate some of these sites, recognized by the browser as dangerous, blocks and alerts the user.
Hispasec A total of 20,263 malicious pages and concluded that protect Firefox users at 35% of cases. The Google browser, Chrome, is the second most secure, having reacted to 32.7% of the sites threatening, followed by Explorer with 25.3 percent. Latest Opera is situated less reliable as the browser, having found only 8.3% of attempted fraud.
